On her own, she raises ducklings to pay for her tuition and she worries about whether she can continue her basic 9-year education.

Wan Wan and Xing Ping live in two different worlds. But in certain ways, their lives are similar: both girls chase their childhood dreams in the shadow of social realities and expectations.
